Danske Bank names Jakob Beck Thomsen as Global Head of SME FX & TxB Sales

Danske Bank, the biggest bank in Denmark, has appointed Jakob Beck Thomsen as Senior Vice President (SVP), Global Head of SME FX & TxB Sales.

As seen on his LinkedIn profile, Mr. Thomsen has been with Danske Bank for over 3 years. Before the current role, he was SVP, Head of Commercial Excellence at Danske Bank, where he was responsible for seeking to optimize, and enable the commercial potential of the bank. Prior to joining Danske Banke, Mr. Thomsen worked as Executive Director, Regional Head MENASA & CEO Saxo Bank Dubai Ltd. at Saxo Bank, where he was responsible for both retail and institutional businesses lines in the MENASA region.

Mr. Thomsen is a graduate of Oeregaard Gymnasium. From 2010 to 2012, he attended the Executive Summer School Program at Standford University Graduate School of Business.
