DataArt, a global software engineering company, has announced a strategy partnership with KX, maker of kdb+, an industry-trusted Data Timehouse™ and the KDB.AI vector database, aiming at addressing customer challenges when migrating real-time analytics, machine learning (ML), and artificial intelligence (AI) workloads to the cloud.

The partnership will initially focus on the capital markets and financial services sectors, and will gradually expand to other industries such as healthcare and life sciences, manufacturing and retail.

Through this cooperation, DataArt's rich experience in software engineering and support will enhance KX's cloud-native, time-series, and vector database technologies, thereby helping firms accelerate their migration journey, simplifying the complexity and reducing the costs.

DataArt is an AWS Advanced Consulting Partner, while KX recently launched AWS FinSpace managed service KDB Insights. Taking advantage of AWS, DataArt and KX plan to enable financial services clients to rapidly deploy full-scale KDB applications for market data processing, analytics, and AI workloads.

Sean Maloy, AWS Alliance Sales Lead at DataArt, commented: "Our extensive experience in cloud migration and transformation, coupled with our adept software engineers, will help KX's clients innovate and deliver on their data and analytics swiftly, and at a fraction of the typical cost."
James Corcoran, Chief Growth Officer at KX, said: "Our partnership with DataArt means that customers can leverage the same technology that powers Wall Street within their cloud service, providing the infrastructure they need to fully exploit the capabilities of AI and ML while addressing their most pressing challenges."

KX has been actively developing partnerships in recent months to enhance its services and technologies and expand its business reach. Earlier this month, the company struck a deal with Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. (ICE) to provide real-time analytics on data from ICE's Consolidated Feed and Consolidated History. In June, KX has joined the Snowflake Partner Network, bringing its technology to the Montana-based cloud computing–based data cloud company.
