David Papier Joins CPT Markets as Head of Business Development

Fazzaco learned that David Papier has joined CPT Markets, a leading retail FX and CFDs broker, as Head of Business Development, based in London.

David Papier boasts an extensive background in the financial services industry, with over a decade of experience working in London. Prior to joining CPT Markets, Papier served as the Head of Institutional Sales at Trivepro, a UK-based brokerage, for more than two years, as stated on his LinkedIn profile. From August 2014 to June 2021, Papier held the position of Head of Online and Institutional Services at OvalX (previously known as ETX Capital)​, a local spread betting and CFD provider. In this role, he was responsible for leading the development and implementation of long-term strategic plans and priorities.

Papier initiated his professional journey at CMC Markets, a renowned trading company. In January 2010, he joined the company as a Premier Client Manager, responsible for identifying and cultivating customer relationships across brokers, financial institutions, and high-net-worth individuals. In addition, he also oversaw the company's end-to-end management for the entire sales lifecycle. In March 2013, Papier transitioned to Accendo Markets, an online trading service provider, where he worked as a sales trader for one year. During this time, he gained valuable customer service experience and deepened his market expertise, further adding to his skill set.
