Deborah Finlayson Leaves IG Group After 4 Years

Fazzaco learned that Deborah Finlayson has resigned from the role of Head of Global Service Centers, Workplace & Culture at IG Group, a leading UK online broker.

As seen on her LinkedIn profile, Deborah joined IG as Head of Talent & Organizational Development in January 2017. Prior to IG, she served as Group Head of Talent and Performance at Aviva. Before that, she worked as Programme Manager-People & Organization at Balfour Beatty plc. Additionally, she also held positions at companies like RSA Insurance, HSBC and Deutsche Bank.

Deborah is a graduate of the University of Auckland with a bachelor's degree in Art History and Psychology. She has a master's degree in Art History from the same university.

In the middle of November, IG completed a comprehensive refinancing of its debt, involving the issue of £300 million in senior notes bonds that will be due in 2028, in order to implement a long-term funding structure. Additionally, the company has hired Katherine Whitton​ as its Chief Marketing Officer.
