Deloitte China announced that Zhou Zhixian, the current managing partner of South China, will become the company's next chairman, effective June 1, 2020; the current chairman, Cai Yongzhong, will soon be retired after he has performed his duties for more than 35 years.

Zhou Zhixian's term of office is four years. He has worked in Deloitte for more than 33 years and became a managing partner in South China in 2017, leading the business in South China to maintain double-digit growth every year. Among them, the size of the Shenzhen office has increased significantly each year. During his tenure, Deloitte established the Shenzhen Greater Bay Area Innovation Center and other innovation centers including the Asia-Pacific Blockchain Laboratory and The Garage and Cyber Security Intelligence Center in Hong Kong.
