Deposits and Withdrawals in Tether Now Available at Dukascopy Bank

Dukascopy Bank, a Swiss financial trading services provider, announced that it has enabled blockchain operations in Tether (USDT) for its multi-currency account (MCA) clients.

According to the bank, MCA clients can deposit and withdraw Tether (USDT) directly from/to their crypto wallets. This is the first stable coin that the bank is offering to its clients.

"To start the operations with Tether, the procedure remains the same as for Ethereum. The client needs to link a personal blockchain wallet to the MCA account and confirm the ownership with the signing method,"Dukascopy said.

Dukascopy is expanding its cryptocurrency offerings. Earlier this month, the bank introduced a marketplace for P2P exchange of cryptocurrencies​, allowing clients to place their offers to buy or sell tokens against fiat currencies.

The launch followed the bank announcing that it had been granted authorization from the Swiss financial regulator, FINMA, to provide its customers with the exchange of cryptocurrencies and fiduciary deposits in digital assets allowing investment and custody of cryptos on behalf of clients.
