Deutsche Börse Adds Chong Lee Tan to Its Supervisory Board

Fazzaco learned that Chong Lee Tan has recently been elected to the Supervisory Board of Deutsche Börse AG at the Annual General Meeting, as per the usual rotation.

Seven of the eight elected Supervisory Board members were already members. Chong Lee Tan from Singapore is new, succeeding Amy Yip, who has resigned from the board. Besides, Martin Jetter has been named as Chairman.

Chong Lee Tan has longstanding and profound expertise in the Asian financial and capital markets. Since 2011, he has been working for Temasek, serving as a Member of the Executive Committee now. Also, in 2021 he has been named as CEO at Capital Solutions Group, a wholly owned entity of Temasek, focusing on investing in medium-sized companies in Singapore, Europe, and the US. Before coming to Temasek, he held a number of management positions at international banks in South-East Asia, where he, amongst others, managed the South-East Asian business. 

Deutsche Börse, one of the largest exchange organisations worldwide and an innovative market infrastructure provider, offers its customers a wide range of products, services and technologies covering the entire value chain of financial markets. Recently, it announced its partnership with Commerzbank and fintech 360X. The latest collaboration aims to develop new blockchain-based digital marketplaces and ecosystems for existing real asset classes including art and real estate.
