Deutsche Börse Gets Nod to Take over SimCorp

Around four months after entering a binding agreement to make an all cash voluntary recommended public takeover offer to acquire all of the shares (except treasury shares) in SimCorp A/S, Deutsche Börse announced today that it has obtained the final regulatory approval for the public takeover.
According to Deutsche Börse's statement, the offer period for the cash offer expires on 19 September 2023 at 23:59 (CEST). However, a minimum acceptance level of 50 per cent plus one share of all SimCorp shares remains to be accepted by SimCorp shareholders.
SimCorp A/S, a renowned provider of investment management software and associated technology-enabled services, will seamlessly complement Deutsche Börse's existing data and analytics businesses and capabilities and allow the creation of a full scope front-to-back Investment Management Solutions segment.
The deal is expected to be settled and thus completed on 29 September 2023 at the latest.
