Deutsche Börse Reports 13% YoY Increase in Net Revenue in Q2 2021

Deutsche Börse Group, a leading German marketplace organizer for the trading of shares and other securities, yesterday posted its financial report for the second quarter of 2021, showing a positive performance in net revenue.
More specifically, the group registered a net revenue of €881.7 million, up 13% compared to the corresponding period in 2020. That number for 2020 is €777.5 million.

Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) stood at €518.0 million, 18% higher than the prior year's €440.7 million.
Net profit for the period attributable to Deutsche Börse AG shareholders came in at €310.9 million, compared to the last year's €256.7 million. In addition, earnings per share reached €1.69, higher than prior year's €1.40.
In the first half of 2021, net revenue rose to €1,736.8 million, showing a YoY increase of 3%(H1/2020: €1,692.3 million). Net profit for the period was €628.2 million (H1/2020: €623.9 million), close to the previous year’s level.
As Fazzaco reported earlier, Deutsche Börse has further expansed its FX data offering by providing real-time FX pricing data from 360T through its CEF data feed. The offering includes data from 360T's and DIGITEC's award-winning Swaps Data Feed (SDF), as well as streaming FX spot pricing data sourced from 360T's Essential Data Feed (EDF).
