Deutsche Bank and NHN KCP Appointed Payment Gateway Providers for Henkel Korea

Deutsche Bank, in partnership with NHN KCP, has been appointed as the payment gateway service provider for Henkel Korea.

The arrangement connects Deutsche Bank’s global payments infrastructure with NHN KCP’s payment gateway technology to support Henkel Korea’s local payment operations.

Under the partnership, the two firms will deliver payment gateway services for Henkel’s B2B platform in South Korea. The platform supports professional beauty brands including Shiseido Professional and Schwarzkopf Professional. It allows distributors and customers to complete transactions through online payment methods such as credit cards and bank transfers.

Hyun-Nam Park, Chief Country Officer for Deutsche Bank in South Korea, said the appointment reflects the bank’s experience in providing localised payment solutions for European multinational companies operating in the Korean market.

Jun Seok Park, Chief Executive Officer of NHN KCP, said the collaboration combines Deutsche Bank’s global payments capabilities with NHN KCP’s position in Korea’s payment gateway market.

The partnership builds on an existing merchant solutions framework between Deutsche Bank and NHN KCP. The framework provides electronic payment processing, settlement, and security authentication services. The two companies plan to extend integrated payment solutions to additional multinational clients, beginning with Henkel Korea.
