Deutsche Bank Appoints Two New Directors for Its US Healthcare Investment Arm

Fazzaco learned that the banking Giant Deutsche Bank has announced two appointments of Spencer Watts and Helen Oesch as managing directors for its healthcare investment banking division in the US.

Both Spencer and Helen are eminent banking veterans with a proven track record at world class banks. Currently, Spencer serves as Executive Director of Healthcare Investment Banking at Nomura, and Helen as Managing Director at BMO Capital Markets, where she has been with for more 3 years.

From 2012 to 2018, Spencer has been with UBS for its Global Healthcare Group. And he also held a role of Vice President for Healthcare Investment Banking division at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. As for Helen, she was Director at Credit Sussie from August 2007 to May 2015.

“We’ve been building out our coverage and capabilities by hiring senior bankers to strengthen our existing presence in US Healthcare Services & Technology,” said Nick Richitt, Deutsche Bank’s global co-head of Digital and Healthcare Investment Banking.

So far, the financial service giant has hired ten senior leaderships for its healthcare investment banking team.
