Devexperts Integrates AI Assistant into DXcharts for Natural Language Indicator Creation

d7fa052482ecfb09d9a85a7b6e6d0ac.jpegDevexperts has added an in-chart AI assistant to its DXcharts financial charting library, enabling traders to generate custom technical indicators by typing requests in plain English. The feature, available in a new package, is designed to eliminate the need for programming knowledge when building analytical tools. The assistant accepts natural language prompts and applies the resulting indicator directly to the chart within a single screen.

Denis Krivolapov, Product Manager of DXcharts, stated the tool "is designed to act as a truly collaborative support for traders, enabling even those without deep technical knowledge to achieve the outcomes they desire for their charting." He added that the update offers ease of use and keeps the workflow on one screen. The company positions the AI assistant as a broker-facing product, arguing that lowering the barrier to custom indicator creation can boost user engagement on trading platforms.

This update follows a March release that opened DXcharts to custom JavaScript indicators built by broker development teams, which still required coding skills. The new AI feature is part of a broader effort by Devexperts to enhance DXcharts with AI capabilities over the past 18 months, including integrations for developer support, real-time analysis, and pattern recognition.

Devexperts is not alone in embedding AI into trading interfaces. For instance, FBS launched an AI assistant in October 2025 that interprets charts and generates trade ideas. Devexperts' move to generate indicators from natural language targets the creation workflow itself, advancing beyond pure analysis tools.
