DGCX to Offer Trading Services in Israeli to Expand Global Footprint

The Dubai Gold & Commodities Exchange (DGCX) recently announced that it has obtained authorization from the Israel Securities Authority (ISA) to serve Israel-based market participants and investors.
Under this new authorization, qualified Israeli corporations who trade on proprietary basis will be able to become members of the DGCX and to use its trading services and platforms. Additionally, these members will have access to act as market makers on the DGCX platform.
As detailed in the official announcement, the move allows the DGCX Group to introduce its diversified global products and services, including Futures and Options Contracts that cover precious metals, energy, equities and currency sectors in Israel.
Les Male, CEO of DGCX, commented that they welcome Israeli investors and market participants to join a global community of over 100 members from around the world, as the exchange continues to expand internationally via providing investors and market participants with products and services that are highly innovative and that add true value.
As Fazzaco reported earlier, DGCX launched a Pakistani Rupee (PKR) Futures Contract in April, aiming to enable market participants to expand their trading opportunities to the Pakistani market. The contract size is 2,000,000 of base currently (PKR) and will be traded and cash settled in US Dollars (USD) based on publicly available reference prices displayed on the last trading day.
