DIGITEC Announces the Appointment of Peer Joost as CEO

DIGITEC, a specialist provider of FX Swaps technology and data, announced that it has appointed Peer Joost as CEO. Previously Peer was COO at DIGITEC, where he has worked since October 2011.

Peer's appointment follows the retirement of his father, Hans-Jürgen Joost, a software pioneer and one of the founders of DIGITEC in 1981.

As CEO, he led a team which successfully navigated the Scandinavian banking crisis, the dot-com bubble and global financial crises, reinventing our products and services to satisfy the changing needs of the market and firmly establishing DIGITEC as a pioneering Software and Data Service company and global market leader for FX Pricing solutions,"said Peer Joost, CEO of DIGITEC.

Earlier last year, DIGITEC has launched a new office based in London. According to DIGITEC, part of its global growth strategy, the new sales office is in response to a growing number of enquiries from banks and trading desks located in London.
