DTCC Introduces OTC Direct Connect to Enhance Data Services for OTC Derivatives

The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC), the premier post-trade market infrastructure for the global financial services industry announced on Wednesday (November 8) that it has launched its OTC Direct Connect, a service offering seamless access to OTC derivatives transactions data that are reportable in the U.S. and Canada.
OTC Direct Connect provides a rapid and frictionless data delivery solution for individuals and teams involved in derivatives markets, including investment professionals, data vendors, and business support teams. This service helps subscribers efficiently manage market risks and trading risk factors in almost real time. By replacing manual data collection methods, OTC Direct Connect offers scalability and automated access to the published data on DTCC Data Repository (U.S.) LLC's Public Price Dissemination Dashboard (PPD Dashboard).
Furthermore, users of OTC Direct Connect are provided with access to data on Amazon Web Services (AWS) via AWS Data Exchange, a platform where customers can find, subscribe, and utilize third-party data in the cloud.
Tim Lind, Managing Director of DTCC Data Services, said: "This solution systematically and seamlessly disseminates OTC derivatives transaction data to interested parties. OTC Direct Connect improves transparency in the OTC derivatives markets, as intended by regulatory disclosure mandates, by providing subscribers with improved information access."
Last month, Fazzaco reported that DTCC had signed a definitive agreement to acquire Securrency Inc. (Securrency). This acquisition aims to to fast-track the development of its enterprise digital asset platform and unlock the power of institutional DeFi.
