DTCC Welcomes Sharon Biran as Chief Client Officer

DTCC, the premier post-trade market infrastructure for the global financial services industry, has bolstered its leadership team by appointing Sharon Biran as Managing Director and Chief Client Officer, effective March 25. This move follows the recent recruitment of Gloria Lio​ as Head of Enterprise Services.

Succeeding Timothy Keady, who will leave at the end of March, Biran will join the DTCC Executive Committee and will report to Francis J. La Salla, President, Chief Executive Officer and Director at DTCC.

In her new role, Biran will spearhead DTCC's global client management and engagement strategy, including sales, relationship management, partners, and marketing and communications. In addition, she will oversee the company's Consulting Services business.

With an extensive background of over 25 years in senior leadership positions in the financial services industry, Biran is joining DTCC from Accenture, a renowned American multinational professional services company specializing in IT services and consulting. At Accenture, she served as Managing Director and Global Account Leader for more than six years, overseeing some of the company's largest and most complex banking and capital markets client relationships. Prior to her time at Accenture, Biran spent 15 years at UBS and JPMorgan Chase in various high-level roles, where she successfully led regulatory change programs and played a crucial part in driving technology and operations transformations. She began her career at Accenture in May 1997, initially holding the position of Manager until December 2003.
