Dukascopy Enhances CFD Portfolio with Italian Stocks and Italy 40 Index Inclusion

Dukascopy Bank SA, a Swiss online bank which provides online and mobile trading, banking and financial services, announced on Wednesday (June 12) that it has expanded its CFD instrument offerings with addition of Italian stocks and the Italy 40 Index.
Italian equities have long been a cornerstone of the European financial landscape, representing some of the continent's most prominent companies across various sectors. With this latest addition, Dukascopy clients gain access to a diverse array of Italian market giants, including Enel Spa, Ferrari NV, Assicurazioni Generali Spa, Fiat Chrysler Auto NV, Intesa Sanpaolo Spa, UniCredit Spa, and more.
The Italy 40 Index comprises the 40 most capitalized and liquid stocks listed on the Borsa Italiana, encompassing industries such as banking, finance, fashion, and automotive. It serves as a barometer for investors seeking to monitor Italy's market performance, providing a valuable gauge for investment performance and risk assessment.
In the announcement, Dukascopy also informed traders that they should be aware of the Italian Financial Transaction Tax (IFTT) applicable to Italian-based stock and index derivatives. "This tax is an essential consideration for those looking to trade Italian assets and should be factored into their overall trading strategy," the bank emphasized.
Furthermore, Dukascopy recently solidified a strategic collaboration with Options Technology, a leading provider of cloud-enabled IT infrastructure to global capital markets, in March of this year, aiming to offer clients real-time market data for US equities.
