Ebang Launches Cryptocurrency Exchange Ebonex.io

China-based blockchain technology company Ebang International Holdings Inc. announced on Monday that it has launched its cryptocurrency exchange, Ebonex.io. 

According to the official announcement, qualified investors will be able to register and trade by visiting the official website at www.ebonex.io. 

Dong Hu, Chairman and CEO at Ebang, commented, “The official launch of our cryptocurrency exchange is the result of our continuing investment in research and development. In recent years we have made a considerable investment in R&D talent recruiting, as well as product innovation and iteration. The launch of our cryptocurrency exchange business will not only expand the revenue sources from our cryptocurrency business, but also optimize the development of our blockchain industry chain.”

Earlier this year, Ebang announced that it plans to start public testing of its cryptocurrency exchange before its official launch in the first quarter of 2021​. The company is operating its international cryptocurrency operations, including its new exchange business, from its Singapore-based entity.
