EC Markets has announced the opening of a new office in Mexico City, marking the company's first physical presence in Latin America. The expansion is aimed at providing more localized support for clients and partners across the region.

The move follows the firm's recent entry into Mauritius and is part of a broader strategy to strengthen its international reach. In a company statement on Friday, EC Markets said, "Just weeks after celebrating our launch in Mauritius, we're thrilled to announce another exciting step in our global growth: the opening of our new office in Mexico City, Mexico."

The statement added that the Mexico City branch "strengthens our ability to connect with clients and partners across the region, helping us better understand local needs and deliver exceptional service."

In recent months, EC Markets has also expanded in other key markets. The new office in Ebene, Mauritius - a well-known financial hub - was launched to serve clients across Africa and surrounding regions. Prior to that, the company opened a location in Limassol, Cyprus, aimed at reinforcing its position in Europe.

Alongside its geographic growth, EC Markets has secured a Category 5 license from the UAE Securities and Commodities Authority, allowing the company to operate fully within the country's regulated financial framework. It already holds licenses from regulators including the UK's Financial Conduct Authority, Australia's ASIC, and South Africa's FSCA.
