Edgewater Markets Appoints Director of Institutional Sales, Head of Compliance

Edgewater Markets, a leading provider of electronic FX liquidity and workflow solutions to institutional clients globally, has strengthened its leadership team with two seasoned professionals. Raja Thakur has joined the company as Director of Institutional Sales, and Ben Rogan as Executive Director and Head of Compliance for Edgewater's FCA-regulated entity.

Raja brings about two decades of experience in multiple products and asset classes to Edgewater. Most recently, he was Institutional Sales Manager at Liquidity.net, a multi-asset liquidity provider. He also held sales role across multiple financial firms, including ED&F Man Capital Markets, EXANTE, and AETOS Capital Group. Earlier, he focused on business development at City Credit Capital, a leading FX and CFD broker.

In his new role, Raja will contribute to Edgewater's pioneering of emerging markets, and supporting the firm's clients and their custom-built work flow solutions. "I look forward to leveraging my experience and insights to drive value for our institutional clients and contribute to the continued success of the company," said Raja.

Ben Rogan boasts extensive experience in regulatory compliance, technology infrastructure. Prior to Edgewater, he served as Head of Compliance at Renaissance Capital, a leading emerging and frontier markets investment bank, and as Senior Compliance Officer at Bloomberg L.P.
