Edgewater Markets Appoints James Wale as Sales Director

Edgewater Markets has appointed James Wale as Sales Director, adding an experienced institutional foreign exchange and CFD sales executive to its London-based team. Wale announced the appointment on LinkedIn, confirming that he joined the company in October 2026.

Wale joins Edgewater Markets from B2PRIME, where he served as Managing Executive between October 2025 and September 2026. Before that, he spent nearly nine years at iSAM Securities as Head of Leveraged Sales EMEA from January 2017 to October 2025. During his tenure there, he was involved in expanding the institutional sales desk, developing client relationships and delivering multi-asset execution and prime brokerage services.

Earlier in his career, Wale held institutional sales positions at FIXI plc and Varengold Bank AG, where he served as Head of Institutional Sales in London. He also spent nearly eight years at CMC Markets, working in senior institutional sales and relationship management across the EMEA region.

Wale brings more than two decades of financial markets experience, including institutional liquidity distribution, brokerage relationships and business development. Commenting on the appointment, he said: “I look forward to working with the team and supporting clients across the global FX markets.”
