Edgewater Markets Appoints Jilong Chen as Senior Software Developer

​Edgewater Markets, a leading FX industry technology provider, announced that it has appointed Jilong Chen as its Senior Software Developer.

Founded in 2009, Edgewater Markets provides tailored FX and precious metals liquidity to its international client base via an extremely broad network of technologies while continuing to innovate by providing bespoke trading solutions and improving access to liquidity and credit.

With about 20 years experience on developing low latency trading systems, Jilong will join the company's development team and focus on the its ultra-low latency proprietary core engine.

Before this announcement, Jilong served as Senior Software Developer at Bloomberg LP for over twelve years, where he developed risk management system and developed trading apps for user.

Prior to that, he spent two years as Senior Trading System Developer at Millennium Partners, supporting a high frequency/statistical arbitrage trading desk.
