Erica Bourne to Join LSEG as the New CPO
London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG), a diversified international markets infrastructure business, announces the name of its new Chief People Officer, Erica Bourne, who will be also joining the group as a member of the LSEG Executive Committee.
The position is effective in January 2023, and Bourne will answer to the CEO, David Schwimmer. By the time Bourne takes over as CPO, Tim Jones will leave the office, and he will support her through the changeover until everything is completed somewhere in Q1 2023.
Erica Bourne is currently Burberry's chief people officer. She has held senior and leadership positions before joining Burberry in the financial services, consulting, and technology industries. After working with American Express for 12 years, Ms. Bourne rose to the position of Executive Vice President, where she oversaw a worldwide HR team that supported the company's 54,000 workers in more than 30 nations.
"I am delighted to welcome Erica to LSEG. She is an outstanding senior executive with deep global expertise, a track record of commercial and operational leadership and impressive experience in driving growth through digital transformation. I would also like to thank Tim Jones for his significant contribution to LSEG over the past 12 years. He has been instrumental in building a global people function for LSEG and a driving force in the initial progress we have made in transforming our culture as well as our diversity and inclusion agenda," said David Schwimmer.
