Erste Expands Financial Management Solutions Through Salt Edge Integration

Erste Group, a financial services provider in Central and Eastern Europe, continues its efforts to expand its offerings by further integrating Salt Edge's solutions into its services. Already a key player in the region, Erste Group serves over 16 million customers across seven countries. The partnership with Salt Edge is a significant step in enhancing the bank's multi-banking capabilities, providing both retail and corporate customers with more comprehensive financial management tools.

Retail customers in Austria and Romania already benefit from Salt Edge's Account Information solution, integrated into the George banking app. This allows users to consolidate accounts from various banks, providing them with a full view of their financial activities in one place. With the ability to connect Erste accounts as well as other Romanian and Austrian bank accounts, customers can easily track all transactions in real-time, promoting better financial oversight.

Beyond retail services, the integration also extends to corporate clients through ErsteConnect API. This API offers a secure access point for managing finances across multiple banks, incorporating both Account Information and Payment Initiation Services. Corporate customers can integrate these services directly into their existing ERP systems or custom solutions, improving efficiency and control over their financial operations.
