eToro Adds 250 UCITS ETFs to Platform to Target European Investors
Online brokerage eToro has expanded its portfolio of investment instruments by listing an additional 250 UCITS ETFs. The move is aimed primarily at the European market, where the Undertakings for Collective Investment in Transferable Securities (UCITS) framework provides a regulated standard for investment funds.
Yossi Brandes, VP of Execution Services at eToro, stated that the addition addresses rising demand for these products among European clients. "For our European investors, UCITS ETFs are a key gateway to diversified and cost-effective portfolios," Brandes said, adding that "hundreds more" are expected to be added soon.
In conjunction with the expanded listing, the platform highlighted its recurring investment feature, which allows users to schedule automatic investments with monthly minimums starting at $25. Brandes described the tool as "an ideal way to steadily build exposure to ETFs," noting that it helps mitigate market timing risks.
The company also indicated that positions opened in stocks and ETFs via the recurring investment plan remain commission-free. Additionally, eToro is waiving conversion fees on deposits associated with recurring investments until the end of March 2026.
