eToro Appoints Orel Assia as Growth Head of eToro Money

eToro, the leading social trading platform, has named Orel Assia as the Head of Growth of eToro Money, a money-management account and app.

Orel brings over 15 years of experience in design and marketing to the broker. He joined eToro for the second time in 2018, serving as Design Manager for more than 4 years. Previously, he had been working as Creative Director for the company from 2011 to 2014. 

Orel left eToro in Oct. 2014 to co-found WishPal, a product development company. He had also worked as Head of Creative and UX at William Hill, a sports betting app, and then the VP Marketing and Creative at Qiwi Enterprise Solutions, global technology solution provider. In the early stage of his career, he also took leading roles of marketing and creative in several companies, including Kontera and Jerusalem Open House.

eToro Money (formerly known as "eToro Wallet") is an app that connects to users' eToro investment account, allowing them to instantly deposit and withdraw funds. Recently, the app has been successively rolled out in many European countries, such as Sweden, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg and Finland.

Last month, the broker acquired Bullsheet​, a provider of portfolio management tools designed exclusively for eToro users.
