eToro (Europe) Limited Receives Registration from OAM to Operate in Italy

Fazzaco learned that eToro, an Israeli social trading and multi-asset brokerage company, has received registration from the Organismo Agenti e Mediatori (OAM) in Italy as a cryptoasset provider.

With this registration, eToro will be able to offer a suite of products and services to Italian customers in compliance with local regulations.

In addition, this approval demonstrates the investment platform's effort to work hand in hand with regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with rules and regulations and to safeguard retail investors.

As Fazzaco reported earlier, eToro has announced that it will take certain cost reduction actions associated with its business, including 6% of workforce reduction. Meanwhile, the brokerage company officially announced the cancellation of its planned merger and listing​ with special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) FinTech Acquisition Corp V.
