eToro Expands Offering with More Tokens

eToro, an Israeli social trading and multi-asset brokerage company, announced that it has expanded its crypto offering by adding a number of new tokens, showing its ongoing commitment to offer all its users a broad variety of cryptoassets.

According to the announcement, the newly added cryptoassets are MAKER (MKR), a special governance token that cannot be mined, and ENJIN (ENJ). The launch of MKR and ENJ brings the total number of cryptoassets available on eToro to 27.

MAKER is one of the earliest projects on the decentralized finance (DeFi) scene. It’s a support for the DAI token and is capped at a hard 1,000,000 tokens. MKR holders are able to govern and respond to the demand of DAI and are part of a decentralized autonomous organization, much like shareholders in a large corporation.

Gaming and NFTs are finding common ground with Enjin. Through the Enjin blockchain, gamers are able to invest in NFTs from their favorite games and transfer those benefits to future titles. With the ENJ token, an NFT’s value is delegated by the popularity of items and the hottest titles in the gaming world.

Last week, Fazzaco reported that eToro has signed a multi-year deal with the oldest football club in the Czech Republic, SK Slavia Prague​.
