London-based retail FX and CFDs broker ETX Capital has further executed its strategic vision with the latest hire of Daniel Gladding as its new Chief Risk Officer, effective immediately.

Gladding brings a wealth of experience in executive roles in risk and operations. In particular, his broad experience covers data analytics, operational issues, the regulatory environment and of course risk management.

As seen on his Linkedin profile, Gladding joins ETX from Admiral Markets, where he served as Head of Risk and Director (SMF3).

Before this role, Gladding founded Step Function, a professional training and development company running courses in Python, Data Analytics and Data Science, in October 2016.

Additionally, Capital Index procured Gladding as Global Head of Risk and shortly promoted him as Chief Operations Officer. GAIN Capital utilised his services as Vice President of Risk Management and Quantitative Analytics from 2012 to 2017.

Over the course of his career, Gladding also worked at GFT Global Markets UK LTD and IG.

Dan Gladding said of his new role and position:"Joining ETX Capital as Chief Risk Officer represents an exciting challenge for me, as we look to execute on the strategic vision mapped out by Ryan Nettles and Luca Merolla of Guru Capital. It's also a pleasure to join this newly formed executive team which is full of talented individuals and I look to the future at ETX with much optimism."

Phil Adler, CEO of ETX Capital adds further:"Speaking on behalf of the ETX Executive Team, we are delighted that Daniel Gladding has chosen to join ETX as Chief Risk Officer.
