Eurex, a major global derivatives exchange and clearing house, has revealed a series of organizational changes aimed at bolstering its growth strategy. Effective April 1, 2025, the exchange will integrate its global products and sales teams across all asset classes into two new departments. The Global Products & Markets team will be headed by Matthias Graulich, focusing on product and market development, while Jens Quiram will lead the Global Sales & Marketing department, aligning sales efforts across equities, fixed income, currencies, and repo.

In addition to these changes, Melanie Dannheimer, currently responsible for trade venue regulation, will join the Executive Board of Eurex Frankfurt AG. This follows the decision of Randolf Roth, a long-standing member of the board for 26 years, to not extend his contract, although he will continue to serve as a strategic advisor. Furthermore, Robbert Booij will take on expanded responsibilities as Head of Financial Derivatives, overseeing both trading and clearing, reporting to Thomas Book of Deutsche Börse AG. This move comes after the previously announced departure of Erik Müller, CEO of Eurex Clearing AG.

Thomas Book commented on the changes, stating, "I am confident the streamlined structure in combination with the expanded role of Robbert are the basis for growth and will take Eurex to the next level." Robbert Booij also expressed his optimism, saying, "I am deeply convinced that this new structure, will pay off for our customers in many ways, from speeding up product development cycles, to a single client interface and further improved services."
