Euroclear Strengthens Asia-Pacific Footprint with Stake in Marketnode

Euroclear has taken a strategic step by acquiring a stake in Marketnode, a Singapore-based operator focused on digital market infrastructure. While the details of the transaction remain undisclosed, this move positions Euroclear to engage with a key player in the Asia-Pacific region.

Marketnode, founded in 2021 through a collaboration between SGX Group and Temasek, offers innovative platforms: Gateway, which facilitates end-to-end transactions through tokenization, and Fundnode, which supports investment fund operations on the blockchain.

The investment enhances Euroclear's footprint in Asia-Pacific and aligns with its strategy to improve fund flows and reduce settlement times. Both companies expressed optimism, with Euroclear seeing the deal as a step toward building modern market infrastructure in the region, and Marketnode viewing Euroclear's involvement as a key boost for its growth.
