Eurotrader Names Ben Swann as Chief Technology Officer

Fazzaco learned that Eurotrader Group, a fully licensed and regulated retail broker in FX, stocks, cryptos, indices and commodities, has announced the appointment of Ben Swann as the company's Chief Technology Officer (CTO).

Ben is an experienced Director Of Information Technology with a demonstrated history of working in the financial services industry. As seen on his Linkedin profile, he joined Eurotrader from Axi, where he has been serving as Group Head of Technology since November 2019.

Prior to this, Star Financial Systems utilised his services as Chief Technology Officer from June 2009 to November 2019. He also spent four years as Development Manager with City Index, a global leader in spread betting, CFD and FX trading. Earlier in his career, Ben also worked at MF Global, IFX Markets / Financial Spreads and Finspreads.

Ben is the latest addition to Eurotrader's executive team. As Fazzaco previously reported, Eurotrader has announced Marcelo Spina​'s appointment as its new CEO. Over the course of his more than 20 years in the financial markets, Marcelo Spina has held executive positions with many of the bigger businesses in the sector.  ​
