Exclusive: Clients Profitability of 36 Retail Brokers, Loss Rate of 8 Brokers Exceeds 80% in February

Fazzaco has collected a total of 36 retail brokers' data from February 2023 to see the dealings of brokers and retail traders.

As you can learn from the chart, the average losing rate for these 36 brokers came in at 73.25%. That is to say, 26.75% of retail investor accounts make profits when trading CFDs with these providers. 

Blackwell Global ranks number one for 56.67% winning ratio. FXOpen is in second place with 40% winning rate. Other brokers in the top 5 are also notable: ThinkMarkets (39.7%), Swissquote (38%) and Darwinex (37%).

On the other hand, the highest loss ratio falls on iFOREX Europe, where nearly 89 out of every 100 clients lose money and only 11 were profitable. Brokers like Capital Index, FxPro, Plus500, One Financial Markets, GBE brokers, XTB and Admirals are still shown over 80% losing ratio.

It can be seen from this table that among the 36 brokers, 2 brokers have higher lossing ratio, 11 have lower, and other brokers keep the same lossing ratio compared to January 2023. On a yearly basis, 21 brokers have higher loss rate, and 10 have lower.

Of particular note was the yearly change in the data for Swissquote and One Financial Markets. 

The lossing ratio of Swissquote stood at 62.00%, 19.50% lower than the previous year's 81.50%. In sharp contrast to this, One Financial Markets' lossing ratio improved the most, from 64.60% in February, 2022 to 82.70% in February, 2023. Moreover, TeraFX also saw a 18.04% yearly increase in its lossing ratio this month.
