Exclusive: LSEG Appoints Industry Veteran Peter T. Golder as Head of Group Digital Assets

Fazzaco learned that LSEG has appointed Peter T. Golder as Head of Group Digital Assets. 

Peter brings extensive expertise and experience in financial services and digital assets. Before joining LSEG, he once served as Board Advisor at APEX:E3, a institutional grade digital asset cryptocurrency, data, analytics platform, for more than three years. 

Peter previously spent more than 19 years acting as Founder, CEO and Chairmanat  at Addaura, an independent financial services strategy consulting and corporate advisory boutique focused on the identification and development of disruptive, innovative and transformational business ideas into sustainable and commercially viable solutions and enterprises. 

In addition, the industry veteran has held positions at various well-known companies. He served as CEO and Founder, Euroclear Information Solutions at Euroclear, a neutral open architecture Financial Markets Infrastructure, from 2016 to 2019. Prior to that, he ever worked at Deutsche Bank as CEO, Dar AI Istithmar and Global Head of Strategy, Global Markets Equities. from 2006 to 2008.

Peter got his PhD in Strategy and International Business from Cass Business School and has completed the course of "Competing on Business Analystics and Big Data" at Harvard Business school.

Recently, LSEG has conducted a series of strategic acquisitions. The exchange signed an agreement to acquire MayStreet, a leading market data solutions provider, in May and bought digital ID firm Global Data Consortium in April. At the beginning of this year, LSEG agreed to acquire TORA​, a leading cloud-based technology provider that supports customers trading multiple asset classes across global markets, for $325 Million.
