Exclusive: Martin Christiansen Promoted as Senior Director, Head of Partner Platforms at Saxo Bank

Fazzaco learned that Saxo Bank, Copenhagen-based leading multi-asset trading and investment specialist, has promoted Martin Christiansen as its Senior Director and Head of Partner Platforms.
The bulk of Christiansen's career was spent at Saxo Bank. The promotion marks the latest upward move for Christiansen, who originally joined Saxo Bank in 2010 as a System Developer—Student Assistant.

Later, Christiansen served the broker in six roles. In 2012, he worked as a Portfolio Manager and received a promotion shortly after to the Platform Manager. Then, he progressed successively to the Head of Investor Platform, the Head of Partner Platforms and the Head of Financial Advisor and Client Reporting Platforms.
In 2021, he was promoted to the position of Director and Head of Partner Platforms and Tools, where he was responsible for all of Saxo Banks partner platforms, tools and client reporting solutions. He held up this role until this month, paving the way for his promotion.
Saxo Bank has announced major hires to ramp up its international growth plans. Earlier this month, the company selected Philip Frijs to assume the role of CEO for Nordic region and appointed Gyula Szathmary as Global Head of Digital Experience Platforms (DXP) & CMS Strategy.
