Exclusive: Paysafe Appoints Gary Allinson as Head of Crypto Sales

Fazzaco learned that Paysafe Group, a leading specialized payments platform, has appointed Gary Allinson as Head of Crypto Sales.

Gary brings extensive expertise and experience in payment businesses. Before joining Paysafe, he worked at Cashflows as Head of Product GTM - Marketplace, ISV & Payfac. Prior to that, he spent over 5 years at Visa where he initially served as the Strategic Alliances Director and then turned to focus on Urban Mobility & MaaS.

Previously, Gary served in various companies, mainly responsible for the POS business. He once served as Supplier Manager & Account Management (POS) at Worldpay. At the beginning of his career, he stayed at Royal Bank of Scotland Business for 9 years, acting as Acquiring and Supply Chain Manager (POS).

Gary commented on the new appointment: "Crypto and NFTs is something I've personally enjoyed as an investor. I will look to take these UX learnings and try to improve the Pay In and Pay Out relationship between Fiat and Crypto/NFTs use cases and help drive new innovations as web3 and decentralization evolves." 

To develop crypto payments, Paysafe previously appointed Elbruz Yılmaz as Senior Vice President, Crypto in April 2022​.
