Exclusive: Win-Loss Ratios of 37 Retail Brokers in August 2021

It's been more than a year since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, which brings a huge growth in trading volumes to a number of trading platforms and commodities. The pandemic is expected to have a huge impact on forex trading and financial markets for a long time.

Fazzaco has collected a total of 37 retail brokers' data from August 2021 to see the dealings of brokers and retail traders.

*The actual loss ratio for HYCM is 74-89%, with the average values applied in the table above.
As you can see from the chart, the average winning rate is 26.88% and the average losing rate is 73.12%.
FXOpen ranks number one for a whopping 40% winning ratio. Saxo Bank is in second place with 1% lower than FXOpen’s. Other brokers in the top 5 are also notable: ActivTrades(38%), AVA(38%), ICM Capital(33.86%).
Brokers like Capital Index, FxPro, Blackwell Global and HYCM are still shown over 80% losing ratio.

It can be seen from this table that among the 37 brokers, 16 brokers keep the same lossing ratio, 5 have higher, and 15 brokers have lower lossing ratio.
Of particular note was the change in the data for ActivTrades. The broker's lossing ratio stood at 62% in August 2021, showing a MoM decrease of 16% compared with 78% in July this year.
By contrast, City Credit Capital's lossing ratio improved the most, from 71.61% in July 2021 to 77.64% in August 2021.
