The below are selected highlights of last week's executive transitions, including significant leadership shifts across the banking, trading, and FinTech sectors.

Fintech - Blue Ocean Promotes John Willock to Chief Revenue Officer

Blue Ocean Technologies, a capital markets fintech focused on global trading and data solutions, has promoted John Willock to Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), consolidating the firm’s commercial operations under a single leadership structure.

The move gives Willock oversight of sales, business development, client success, and market data growth, expanding on his previous role as Head of Strategy. He joined the firm in 2023, where he helped align product development with go-to-market execution and introduced more data-driven performance metrics.

Broker - Admirals Group Reshuffles Boards Amid 2025 Losses

Anton Tikhomirov and Fedor Ragin have been named to Admirals' Supervisory Board effective October 6, 2025. Tikhomirov, active in the financial brokerage industry since 1999, previously served on the Supervisory Board from 2016 to 2024 and resigned from the Management Board upon his new appointment. Ragin, who joined Admirals in 2017, has spent the past two years as Chief Strategy Officer. Both new board members will serve five-year terms.

In parallel, Liudmila Bataeva has been appointed to the Management Board, effective October 1, 2025. Bataeva, who joined Admirals in early 2024, most recently served as Head of Product, B2B, focusing on regulatory-compliant onboarding processes and partnership model innovations. She previously held product leadership roles in the U.S., including at automation platform Workato.

Trading Software - Former CME Executive Helena Jarabakova Joins TradingView's Partnerships Team

Helena Jarabakova has joined TradingView as part of its Business Development & Partnerships team for the Americas, according to an announcement she made on LinkedIn. In her new role, she will focus on expanding TradingView's network of partnerships with exchanges, brokers, and fintech companies throughout the region - an area the platform has been actively strengthening as it continues to grow its presence among both retail and institutional audiences.

Before joining TradingView, Jarabakova spent over four years at CME Group in London, most recently as Senior Director of Global Channel Partnerships, Retail. In that position, she led strategic initiatives designed to accelerate retail trading growth through collaborations with trading platforms, technology providers, and financial media outlets. Her efforts helped expand CME's retail reach and visibility at a time when retail participation in derivatives trading was surging.
