Exchange - Aquis Exchange Appoints Thomas Downes to Lead Markets Division
Aquis Exchange has named Thomas Downes as its new Head of Markets, a move the firm says aligns with its strategic ambitions for pan-European expansion. The appointment was confirmed last Tuesday, following a period of solid performance for the company in the first half of 2025.
Downes, a veteran of the electronic trading industry, brings with him a wealth of experience from previous roles at ITG and Virtu, where he led electronic trading sales and strategy and sat on the Executive Committee. He started his career at Merrill Lynch, focusing on technology and product development in fixed income and FX, and most recently served as Managing Partner at IOX Partners, a fintech advisory firm.
Prop Firm - Flow Traders Appoints Thomas Spitz as CEO
Flow Traders has announced that Thomas Spitz will take over as Chief Executive Officer on September 1, pending regulatory and shareholder approval. He is also nominated to join the Board as an Executive Director.

Fintech - NAGA's Head of User Acquisition Departs
Stanislav Galandzovskyi, a long-serving executive at NAGA Group, has stepped down from his role as Head of User Acquisition, marking the latest change following a wave of senior leadership transitions at the company.
Galandzovskyi joined NAGA in 2018 and played a central role in managing its global paid media strategy, overseeing multimillion-dollar monthly budgets across more than 120 countries.
