Broker - IC Markets Appoints Ioannis Lamprou as Risk Manager for EU Operations
Retail FX and CFDs broker IC Markets has announced the appointment of Ioannis Lamprou as Risk Manager for its IC Markets (EU) Ltd operation. This strategic hire strengthens the firm's European team.
Mr. Lamprou joins IC Markets following a four-year tenure at IG Group's Cyprus-based Brightpool operation, where he served as Head of Equities ETP & OTC Securitized Derivatives. In that role, he oversaw dealing, pricing, trading, and operations functions. His move to IC Markets follows IG Group's recent decision to wind down Brightpool's trading operations and voluntarily renounce its license as a Cypriot investment firm.
Broker - Admirals Announces Leadership Transition in Central and Eastern Europe
Admirals, an Estonia-based retail FX and CFDs broker, has announced a leadership change within its Central and Eastern European operations. Bogdan Albu is stepping down from his role as Regional Director for Romania and Hungary, a position he held since 2021, as part of a planned transition. Cosmin Ruse has been appointed to assume these responsibilities.
Bogdan Albu's departure follows six years with Admirals, where he initially served in a global sales coordination role before establishing and leading the company's Romania branch and regional responsibilities for Romania and Hungary. Prior to joining Admirals, he spent seven years at XTB Romania, contributing to the establishment and expansion of their local branch.
Broker - INFINOX Appoints Artem Gonov as Chief Technology Officer
INFINOX, a prominent retail FX and CFDs broker, has announced the appointment of Artem Gonov as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO). This strategic hire is expected to bolster the company's focus on technology-driven growth and platform development.
Artem Gonov, based in Limassol, brings over 15 years of leadership experience within the fintech and financial services sectors. Before joining INFINOX, he served as Head of Technology at FxPro, where he was responsible for aligning the company's technology strategy with its business objectives and leading a diverse team. Prior to FxPro, he spent nine years at Exinity, holding various senior positions and playing a key role in digital transformation projects.
