Ex-FTX Exec Adam Jacobs Joins Nuvei as Senior Vice President

Adam Jacobs, former Global Head of Payments at FTX, has joined the payment technology company Nuvei as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development several weeks after the bankruptcy​ of his ex-employer.

Adam had been with the crypto exchange FTX since June 2021 until it went bankrupt, according to his LinkedIn profile. He previously founded a crypto payment provider Spend.com in March 2021, which had been acquired by Binance. Prior to that, Adam had served as an Advisor to Co-Founder at Ethereum for 4 years. He had also held roles in CBRE, a global leading commercial real estate service provider, and Scotiabank, a Canada-headquartered bank.

Adam received his Bachelor's Degree of Financial & Psychology from Western University in 2014. He also finished Canadian Securities Course in Canadian Securities Institute in July 2013.

The collapse of Adam's former employer, FTX​, has further depressed the cryptocurrency market, which was already hit by Luna and Terra's crash​ in the first half of the year. Fazzaco has followed up on the matter.
