Failed Prop Firm Karma May Be Acquired by Leading Firm

Karma Prop Traders, one of the prop firms that went out of business in recent weeks, is now reportedly in advanced negotiations with a major prop firm interested in acquiring its client base and operational assets.
The failed firm, founded by Eshan Balapatabendi, had been experiencing significant financial difficulties due to liquidity problems, according to Fazzaco's report . Balapatabendi attributed these issues to "cheaters" who exploited loopholes in the company's challenge system, undermining the firm's financial stability.
Initially, Balapatabendi had pledged to refund all honest clients and rejected various acquisition offers, stating that none were the "right move" for the company. However, in a dramatic shift, Balapatabendi revealed that Karma is now negotiating with a leading prop firm about a potential acquisition.
On the firm's official Discord, he noted, "KARMA is currently in an advanced stage of negotiations with a leading Prop Firm in the industry regarding a possible acquisition." He added, "Should the negotiations finalize as planned, all active accounts with KARMA would be transferred to the Acquiring Company."
This update follows a wave of recent closures in the prop trading sector, with 20 smaller firms shutting down in the past week alone due to Eightcap's decision to stop supporting the MT4 and MT5 trading platforms. This decision was prompted by licensing issues with MetaQuotes, adding further strain to the already challenging environment for prop firms.
