FairXchange Hires Former Citi Exec as Its Strategic Advisor

FairXchange, a financial data science firm registered in the UK, made an announcement that James Dalton, a former Citi exec, is now officially the company's Strategic Advisor.

James Dalton, a revered veteran with 30-year experience in financial markets, spanning operations and technology, started his career at State Street Custody in the 1990s, followed by 16 years at Citibank where he sold FX platform solutions through Asia, Europe and North America.

During his years at Citi, he built and ran the FX Algorithmic Execution suite for a period of 10 years before more recently working with National Australia Bank as their Head of FICC Digital.

Guy Hopkins, the founder and CEO of FairXchange, considered Dalton to be someone who "has a wealth of sell-side experience, focusing on market micro-structure, trading technology, process automation solutions and the regulatory oversight."
