FalconX Raises $210 million in Series C Funding Round at $3.75 billion Valuation

US-based FalconX, a digital asset trading platform that provides clients best execution using data science, has raised $210 million in a Series C funding round, boosting its valuation to $3.75 billion.
The latest funding round was led by Altimeter Capital, Sapphire Ventures and existing investors B Capital Group and Tiger Global, with participation from Mirae Asset and Amex Ventures.

According to the official press release, the company will spend the new investment on scaling up, including by hiring staff to further build its technical infrastructure, global expansion -- especially in Asia -- and launching products inspired by customer requests such as a delayed settlement product, which allows institutions to settle in 20 business days.
