Fazzaco Celebrates International Women's Day, Offers Exclusive Insights from Female Executives in Fintech

Fazzaco, in celebration of the International Women's Day, launches a special feature— Female Executive in Fintech Talks: Some Leaders Are Born Women — to go into female leadership in the fintech industry.
We appreciate the contributions of all the interviewees, who are among the most prestigious female leaders in fintech, and thank all of them for their commitment to the industry and for remaining steadfast in their own pursuits despite all stereotypes and challenges. This definitely will encourage all women to advance confidently in their chosen profession and has a lasting, positive impact on gender equality.
Actually in terms of female leadership, studies show that once women land leadership, they excel - often surpassing men. To quote Geraldine Ferraro, "Some Leaders Are Born Women", which also is exactly consistent with those prestigious female leaders we have reached out in this feature. Here are a few words they said in our interviews that may allow a glimpse of their wisdom and strength:
Maria Meramveliotaki, Head of Marketing at TopFX - Being a good leader is not a matter of gender.
Anca Ioana Ionescu, Head of HR & Talent Acquisition at FINXFLO - I have personally never allowed something so natural and trivial as my gender to stop me from what I felt it is right to pursue as a career. I discovered that I could do carpentry work with the same soft hands I'm caressing my child's forehead.
Elena Berestovaya, Head of Marketing at UpTrader - Being a manager means taking responsibility for both the team and the result. Show your management that you are ready for responsibility, and you'll be noticed.
Doris Zhao, Head of Public Relations, HK & Shanghai at Saxo Markets - I'm more believed that every individual is different.
Lyuba Popova, Senior Legal Counsel at Paysafe - Gender equality means exactly that – not making excuses or expecting preferential treatment based on your biological marks/behavior and this should translate equally to men and women.
Marilena Iakovou, CMO at M4Markets - I believe all differences come down to character and not gender.
Elena Krutova, Global HR Head at Exness - The diverse work environment means that we respect each other's differences: gender, cultural, professional or age-related.
Yulia Tereshchenko, Operations Manager at PLUGIT - Being heard or not is more related with one's personal qualities, knowledge, experience, and credibility. It's not really about your gender or race.
Farah Mourad, Senior Market Analyst at XTB MENA - If you're doing something you're really passionate about, you simply can't take it out of your head.
In general, this feature, covering interviews with dozens of women in leadership roles in fintech, resonates with ideas and success. It’s for women and men contemplating a new venture or rising in a chosen profession in fintech, and for the highest level of leadership seeking to improve gender diversity in the workplace.
