Fazzaco Reports: Client Account Profit/Loss Ratio of 29 Brokers in September 2024

Fazzaco collected the data of profit/loss ratio of client accounts from 29 brokers in September 2024. The specific data are shown in the table below:

Among the 29 brokers this month, an average of 28.34% of client accounts achieved profits, while 71.66% of client accounts suffered losses. Compared with the average data in August 2024, the winning rate of client accounts increased by 0.46%. Although it is worth pointing out that only 2 brokers saw monthly changes this month while the rest stayed the same.

Among them, Hantec Markets ranked first with a 40% profit rate of client accounts. Valutrades and FXCM come right after with a 38% profit rate.

Other brokers that have 30% or more of client accounts winning money include TradeView Markets (36%), Gildencrest Capital (35.94%), Admirals & ADSS (33%), One Financial Markets (31.5%), Earn (31.07%), ActivTrades (31%) and IG Group & Tickmill (30%)*.

The highest loss rate of client accounts went to Capital Index, with 85.32 out of every 100 clients losing money. In addition, Capital.com (83.51%), iFOREX Europe (80.22%), and Plus500 (80%) all had 80% or more of client accounts losing money.

From the table above, it can be seen that compared with August 2024, among the 29 brokers this month, the only 2 brokers saw changes are FxPro and ThinkMarkets, both of which have lower loss rate. FxPro saw a 9% drop, and ThinkMarkets saw 3.95%.

In terms of year-on-year, compared with September 2023, among the 28 brokers (excluding TradeView Markets), a total of 13 had a lower year-on-year loss rate (marked green), 9 brokers had a higher year-on-year loss rate (marked red), and 6 remained unchanged. Among them, the brokers with significant changes include: One Financial Markets (down 14.2% year-on-year) and iFOREX Europe (up 6.3% year-on-year).
