Fazzaco Reports: Client Account Profit/Loss Ratio of 32 Brokers in July 2024

Fazzaco collected the data of profit/loss ratio of client accounts from 32 brokers in July 2024. The brokers we have in this month-on-month comparison are the same from last month. The specific data are shown in the table below:


Among the 32 brokers this month, an average of 28.75% of client accounts achieved profits, while 71.25% of client accounts suffered losses. Compared with the average data in June 2024, the winning rate of client accounts increased by 0.54%.
Among them, Swissquote ranked first with a 50% profit rate of client accounts, the number remained consistent with that of last month. Valutrades comes right after with a 38% profit rate, which is a sharp improvement from June.
Other brokers that have 30% or more of client accounts winning money include TradeView Markets (36%), TeraFX / Gildencrest Capital (35.94%), Earn (35.20%), Hantec Markets (34%), Saxo Bank + Admirals + ADSS (33%), FXCM (32%), One Financial Markets (31.5%), City Index and Forex.com (31%), ActivTrades + Tickmill + IG Group (30%).
The highest loss rate of client accounts went to Capital Index, with 84.61 out of every 100 clients losing money. In addition, Capital.com (83.51%), FxPro (82%), iFOREX Europe (80.22%), and Plus500 (80%) all had 80% or more of client accounts losing money.

From the table above, it can be seen that compared with June 2024, among the 32 brokers this month, 14 showed monthly changes. 5 of them had a lower month-on-month loss rate (marked green), and 9 had a higher month-on-month loss rate (marked red), and the rest 18 brokers remained unchanged (or did not update their data in time).
The broker with the most significant month-on-month improvement was Valutrades, of which the loss rate dropped 23% month-on-month. Gildencrest Capital saw 5.06% down. Hantec Markets saw a 4% m-o-m rise.
In terms of year-on-year, compared with July 2023, among the 29 brokers (excluding Valutrades, TradeView Markets and PRC Broker), a total of 18 had a lower year-on-year loss rate (marked green), 8 brokers had a higher year-on-year loss rate (marked red), and 3 remained unchanged. Among them, the brokers with significant changes include: Swissquote (down 30.54% year-on-year) and ThinkMarkets (up 9.55% year-on-year).
