2. FTX's Founder Sam Banman-Fried Apprehended in the Bahamas​

Fazzaco learned that a few hours ago, Bahamian Attorney-General Ryan Pinder announced that the country's police force arrested Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF), the founder of bankrupt crypto exchange FTX, after receiving criminal accusations filed by US authorities. Pinder further pointed out in the statement that the US is likely to request an extradition of SBF.

The arrest was confirmed on Twitter by the Southern District of New York, which is investigating SBF and the collapse of FTX and its sibling trading business Alameda.

3. CMC Markets Promotes Chandni Brahmbhatt to Senior Sales Executive

Fazzaco learned that CMC Markets, a leading global provider of online trading, technology and execution for institutional clients, has promoted Chandni Brahmbhatt to Senior Sales Executive.

As seen on her LinkedIn profile, Brahmbhatt joined CMC Markets as Sales Executive in April 2021. She is experienced in sales, having previously held related roles in different industries such as Bright Network, a recruitment agency, Marcus Evans Group, a global business information service provider and Clark, a British international shoe manufacturer and retailer.

4. Exness Sees 89.5% YoY Jump in Client Trading Volumes for November​

Fazzaco learned that retail FX and CFDs broker Exness has posted its trading volumes for the month of November, showing a drop compared to the last month.

More specifically, the broker reported client trading volumes of $2.405 trillion, drop by 4.9 percent compared to the prior month's $2.53 trillion. This number for November 2021 is $1.269 trillion, revealing a yearly increase of 89.5%.

5. ITI Capital Ends 2021 with £3.5 Million Loss, Plans to Wind down Retail Business

ITI Capital, an international investment company with headquarters in London, has published its yearly financials for the year ended 31 December 2021. The broker reported a 43 percent year-over-year drop in its revenue for this year.

According to the figures, the company's revenue for the year came in at £3.32 million, compared to the previous year's £5.83 million. It ended the year with a pre-tax loss of £3.4 million, while this figure was at £2.4 million in the previous year.

6. T4Trade Regional Manager Dimitris Stylianou Announces Departure​

Dimitris Stylianou decided to end his tenure as the Regional Manager at multi-asset forex broker T4Trade, said in his LinkedIn post on Tuesday.

With 7 years of working experience in financial industry, Stylianou joined T4Trade as Regional Manager in March this year. Prior to T4Trade, he had a short stint of 4 months at Forex Trading as a Retention Manger. Stylianou had previously held roles at online trading platform Alvexo, TopForex and more recently served as Head of Education for FX at SLS Consulting, which offers professional human resource services and training to businesses.
