FCA Cancels Cyber Quote's Part 4A Permission Over Suitability Failures

The UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has cancelled Cyber Quote Limited's Part 4A permission to carry on regulated activities, with the cancellation effective from November 4, 2026.
The regulator concluded that Cyber Quote fails to satisfy the Suitability Threshold Condition, finding it is not a fit and proper person to conduct regulated activities having regard to all the circumstances.
According to the FCA, the firm failed to be open and co-operative with the Authority, did not provide information requested from it, and failed to submit the Returns. On that basis, the Authority said it is not satisfied that Cyber Quote's business is being, or will be, managed in such a way as to ensure its affairs are conducted in a sound and prudent manner.
The FCA said the cancellation was imposed to advance its consumer protection and integrity objectives.
Cyber Quote had been authorised to advise on investments (except pension transfers and opt outs), agree to carry on a regulated activity, arrange (bring about) deals on investments, deal in investments as agent, and make arrangements with a view to transactions in investments.
