FCA Sent Warnings Against FastCryptoFX
FCA, the UK financial regulator, has issued a warning against FastCryptoFX.com, also known as Fast Crypto FX, which is a clone of FCA authorized firm Darwinex.
The fastcryptofx.com site seems to be disabled now, but it showed the same address as social trading focused Darwinex. Scammers claimed that they are an FCA-licensed company with the license number of 586466, which is the same as Darwinex's parent company Tradeslide Trading Tech Limited. The falsified fastcryptofx website was also intendedly designed to look similar to the real Darwinex.com site.
FastCryptoFX seems to be created by some nefarious criminals who lure clients with promise of easy, steady, and higher returns in trading forex or in bitcoin mining.
The FCA stated that fraudsters are using or giving out the following details as part of their tactics to scam people in the UK:
FastCryptoFX.com / Fast Crypto FX (Clone of FCA authorised firm)
Telephone: +1 8187488053
Email: support@fastcryptofx.com
Website: www.fastcryptofx.com
The regulator said to be aware that scammers may give out other false details or mix these with some correct details of the registered firm. They may change contact details over time to new email addresses, telephone numbers or physical addresses.
